It’s free to rock up with a towel, grab some snacks from the store and have yourself a little beach picnic 2. Get lost the backstreets Some of the most beautiful backstreets I’ve seen are in Barcelona, and there’s pleanty of em! Get lost, have a wonder and maybe stop of for a drink or two along the way 3. Drinks on a rooftop bar What’s better than a glass of €5 wine with a view like this? Not much. Barcelona has plenty of rooftop bars to choose from to suit all budgets. 4. Eat delicious food From tapas to Paella there are so many delicious local dishes to chose from. The ideal way, get tapas plates and share so you can try more!- 5. Visit Camp Nou Football lovers unite. Yes the stadium is under construction however the FC museum is a must do for anyone who loves football. 6. See the Gaudi houses There are three to choose from, we went to the first ever one, Casa Vincens. The tour guide we had was amazing. We also visited Casa Mill and Casa Batllo 7. Plaça Reial A great place to soak up the vibes. We went in the evening and saw it all lit up. 8. Montjuïc cable car If you want amazing views over the city you must do the cable cars. A peaceful ride up that really shows the beautiful landscape of Barcelona 9. Montjuïc Castle Once you’re at the top from the cable cars you can go into the Castle. A military fortress that dates back to 1640. 10. Walk around Port Vell Fancy a stroll around the port? Yatchs, cruise ships, restaurants and bars. Port Vell is the ultimate place to spend an evening relaxing. 11. Eat your way around Mercado de la bouqueria From fresh juices, jamon and cheese, yummy pastries and filled bread. Eat your way around the market (and try not to end up as full as we did!) 12. Admire Barcelona cathedral In the heart of Barcelona sits it’s cathedral. Dating back to the thirteenth century this stunning monument is a must visit 13. Explore Park Güell Another Gaudi construction, Park Güell is situated just outside of the main city centre. A stunning mix of Gaudi’s signature style and plenty of nature. 14. Ride boats at cituadella park A super fun activity to do if you’re in Barcelona. It was €6 for the two of us for 30 minutes. Go later in the day so it’s not as hot! 15. Grab an ice cream I had the most delicious pistachio ice cream in Barcelona. Always finish the evening off with an ice cream. 16. Stroll around the Arc de triumph Take a stroll and admire the Arc de Triumph. Unlike Paris’ version which is a monument of war, Barcelonas arc is based off of culture and art. 17. Admire the Sagrada Familia Need I say anymore? This stunning (but still unfinished) church is a 100% must visit in Barcelona. We went inside and it was worth every penny to see the gorgeous architecture within. 18.
