Strand IJburg is open from May 1 to September 30, during which time the beach is supervised and amenities like toilets and showers are available. From April 1 to September 30, dogs are not permitted on the beach, but they’re allowed off-leash from October 1 to March 31 in designated areas. The beach is accessible to people with disabilities, including the availability of a beach wheelchair and accessible paths.
