Description
The Steamboat NATCHEZ offers an authentic and scenic way to experience New Orleans from the Mississippi River. As the last authentic steamboat operating on the river, it provides a unique glimpse into the city’s rich maritime history. Departing from the Toulouse Street Wharf behind Jax Brewery in the French Quarter, the vessel hosts various cruises, including daytime jazz sightseeing, Sunday brunch, and evening dinner jazz cruises. Each cruise features live jazz music, a calliope concert, and optional Creole cuisine, all while cruising past iconic landmarks such as the Crescent City Connection and the Port of New Orleans.
Cruises are available daily, with specific schedules for each type. Daytime jazz sightseeing cruises typically run from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., while evening dinner jazz cruises are from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday brunch cruises are also offered. The vessel is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the exception of Saturdays when it operates from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Ticket prices vary based on the type of cruise and seating options. For example, daytime jazz sightseeing cruises start at $43.50 for adults, with children aged 6-12 at $21.00, and children under 6 cruising free with a paid adult. Upgrades to lunch or party packages are available for an additional cost. Evening dinner jazz cruises begin at $58.00 for adults, with children aged 6-12 at $26.00, and children under 6 cruising free with a paid adult. Group rates are also available for parties of 10 or more.
