Located in the Ciutat Vella district, this is also the most westerly beach in Barcelona.
Along with Barceloneta beach, Sant Sebastià beach is the oldest and most traditional. It accommodates sports clubs that offer nautical activities of great importance to the city. It is also one of the longest, measuring approximately 660 metres.

Sant Sebastià is one of the most popular beaches in the city, as almost 70% of users are from Barcelona, especially from Ciutat Vella. However, this is also one of the city beaches most frequented by visitors from abroad.

Sant Sebastià beach provides easy access and enjoyment for everyone, with special attention paid to those whose mobility is limited in some way: it features reserved parking areas from which it is easy to reach the dry beach, visual and tactile signage and information, adapted toilets, wooden footbridges that reach the water as close as possible (although, under no circumstances will they ever touch the water, as its currents could detach the module) and adapted showers with chairs. The public transport has also been adapted to provide easier access.
