Description
Sandbanks is a modern, well-respected and treasured jewel in the crown of the British coastline and the ideal location for a break at any time of the year. Visit our Explore Sandbanks page for more information.
Sandbanks Beach is recognised as one of the United Kingdom’s best and has the accolade of the Blue Flag award which it has maintained for 35 years – more than any other beach in the country. A specially designated area on the western section of the beach means that dogs can make the most of the lush golden sand as well.
Furthermore, a well-located car park next to the beach combined with bus links between Poole Town Centre, Bournemouth and the nearby town of Swanage ensures there are plenty of transport options to make your trip to the beach as relaxing as possible.
You can find great inspiration on all that Sandbanks has to offer in our 24-Hours in Sandbanks Itinerary.
