Description
The Petronas Twin Towers are an iconic symbol of Kuala Lumpur, standing at 451.9 meters with 88 floors. Completed in 1998, they held the title of the world's tallest buildings until 2004. Designed by architect César Pelli, the towers are connected by a skybridge on the 41st and 42nd floors, offering panoramic views of the city. Visitors can explore the observation deck on the 86th floor for an unparalleled perspective of Kuala Lumpur's skyline.
The towers are open to the public from Tuesday to Sunday, including public holidays, between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM, with the last admission at 8:30 PM. They are closed on Mondays, except for the second and fourth Mondays of each month. Notably, the towers remain open during Friday prayers to accommodate visitors. However, they are closed during the Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Hari Raya Aidiladha celebrations.
Admission fees vary based on age and residency status. Malaysian citizens (MYKAD holders) enjoy discounted rates:
Infants (under 2 years): Free
Children (2–12 years): RM17 on weekdays; RM50 on weekends and public holidays
Adults (13–60 years): RM35 on weekdays; RM98 on weekends and public holidays

Non-Malaysian visitors are subject to the higher rates. Tickets can be purchased online through the official e-ticketing platform. It's recommended to arrive at the entry point 15 minutes before the scheduled time to ensure timely admission.
For those traveling by public transport, the towers are accessible via the Bukit Nanas Monorail Station and the KLCC LRT Station. Parking is available at the Suria KLCC shopping mall, located adjacent to the towers. Visitors are advised to dress appropriately for an air-conditioned environment and to store personal belongings in provided lockers. The venue is fully accessible to visitors with disabilities.
