Description
Polonezköy Zoo, situated in the tranquil Beykoz district of Istanbul, offers a unique wildlife experience within a 140,000 m² natural setting. Unlike traditional zoos, many animals here roam freely in expansive habitats, allowing visitors to observe them in a more natural environment. The zoo is home to various species, including zebras, alpacas, and a petting farm where children can interact with goats and guinea pigs.
The zoo operates daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with extended hours on weekends until 8:30 PM. As of 2025, the entrance fee is 500 TL for adults and 300 TL for children aged 2 to 12. Additional activities, such as pool access, are available at separate charges.
Located approximately 30 km from central Istanbul, Polonezköy Zoo is accessible by car or public transportation. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own food and beverages, as the zoo does not permit outside items for security reasons.
