Located at 15 Rue Droite in the heart of Old Nice, the Palais Lascaris is a baroque-style mansion built in the mid-17th century for the Lascaris-Vintimille family. It has been transformed into a museum showcasing the art and music of the 17th and 18th centuries. The museum houses an impressive collection of paintings, prints, tapestries, furniture, objets d'art, and musical instruments from notable collections.
The museum is open Monday, Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and is closed on Tuesdays, as well as on January 1st, Easter Monday, May 1st, and December 25th. Admission is €7 for adults. A 4-day Museum Pass granting access to all municipal museums and galleries in Nice is available for €15. Entry is free for children under 18, students, job seekers, and individuals with disabilities and their companions.
Guided tours are available every Monday and Wednesday at 2:00 PM, lasting approximately 1.5 hours. The cost is €7 per person, with free admission for children under 13. Reservations are required and can be made by contacting the museum. Please note that the museum is not wheelchair accessible due to its historic architecture.
