Las Vegas Water Sports operates around Lake Mead and Lake Las Vegas, about 30–40 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. It offers a variety of water-based fun including wakeboarding, wakesurfing, waterskiing, tubing, kneeboarding, paddleboarding, kayaking, electric boat rentals, and a floating Aqua Park. The setting is scenic—a large lake, open skies, glamorous desert backdrop, and often viewed as a relaxing break from the buzz of the city.
There are several age, ability, and safety requirements. To use the Aqua Park, participants must know how to swim. Children aged 6 to 10 must be accompanied by an adult; from about age 11 they may go alone (with waiver). Jewellery, piercings, and loose accessories are typically prohibited. Life jackets are provided and required on many activities. Some rentals or boating uses may require you to be 18 or older, or have a signed liability waiver. For certain boats or more powerful watercraft, additional restrictions may apply.
As for cost and planning time: one-hour watersports sessions (including boat + captain + equipment) start around US$97 per person. Aqua Park passes begin at approximately US$27 for about a 45-minute session. For larger or more customized packages (multiple activities, lessons etc.), expect to spend more. If you want to try several different activities—wakeboarding, Aqua Park, paddleboarding, etc.—you should plan 3 to 5 hours to allow for instruction, setup, changing, and rest. Bring swimwear, towel, sunscreen, a change of clothes, possibly shoes that can get wet. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends or holidays.
