Joni Restaurant is an elevated dining destination located on the ground floor of the newly renovated Park Hyatt Toronto at 4 Avenue Road, in the heart of the Yorkville neighbourhood. Inspired by the city’s vibrant arts and culture scene, Joni offers a refined culinary experience that celebrates the best of each season, guided by the vision of Executive Chef Jonathan Williams. The restaurant's design features a modern, electric-inspired ambiance with a contemporary staircase connecting four floors in an open-style design.
Joni's menu embodies a "bistronomy" approach, combining casual bistro dining with contemporary cooking techniques. The dishes are crafted from locally sourced, sustainable ingredients, featuring the freshest produce, meats, and seafood—all prepared in-house. Signature offerings include Beeswax Poached Lobster, Maitake Katsu Sando, Aged Angus Rib Eye, Ontario Lamb, and Smoked Beet Tartare. The menu evolves with the seasons, delivering exceptional flavour combinations that reflect a deep connection to the land.
The dining room at Joni showcases a combination of warm and cool tones, accentuated by art on loan from the nearby Gardiner Museum. The space is designed to evoke a laid-back yet sophisticated vibe, making it a popular spot for both casual dining and special occasions. Guests can enjoy live music performances throughout the week, including live duos on Wednesday through Sunday evenings and piano entertainment during weekend brunches. Operating hours include breakfast daily from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., lunch Monday to Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., brunch and afternoon tea on weekends, and dinner daily from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
