Fuerteventura Golf Club is the island’s premier 18-hole golf course, located in the Fuerteventura Golf Resort near Caleta de Fuste. Designed by Juan Catarineu, the course features a par 72 layout with wide fairways, 67 bunkers, and three lakes, offering a challenging yet enjoyable experience for golfers of all levels. The course is situated within a 1.5 million m² area, providing a tranquil environment surrounded by palm trees and well-maintained greenery. It is approximately a 10-minute drive from the nearest beaches and the resort's amenities.
Green fees vary depending on the season and residency status. Visitors can expect to pay around €57 for 9 holes and €75 for 18 holes. Guests of the Elba & Sheraton hotels receive discounted rates of €45 for 9 holes and €59 for 18 holes. Canarian residents benefit from even lower prices at €43 for 9 holes and €53 for 18 holes. Additional services include buggy rentals (€22 for 9 holes, €34 for 18 holes), buggy replays (€27), twilight rates starting from 2:00 PM (€48), club rentals (€25 standard, €35 premium), and driving range fees (€2 for 30 balls and €6 range fee). Juniors aged 0–10 play for free, and there is a 35% discount for players aged 11–21. Advance reservations are recommended, especially for 9-hole rounds, which can only be booked until 9:15 AM. A valid handicap certificate with a maximum handicap of 36 is required.
The club offers excellent practice facilities, including a driving range with over 50 tees, an 800 m² putting green, and a practice bunker. The course provides a scenic layout, with holes 1 to 10 facing the ocean and returning alongside three interconnected lakes. Fairways and greens are well-maintained, with greens averaging over 614 m² in size, ensuring a pleasant golfing experience for players of all abilities.
