Blyth Kayak Club is a welcoming, volunteer-run recreational club based in Blyth, Northumberland, offering kayaking and canoeing opportunities for all ages and skill levels. Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced paddler, the club provides a supportive environment to develop your skills. The club organizes regular training sessions, outings, and participates in local and national competitions. Members have the opportunity to earn British Canoeing (BCU) star awards and gain valuable experience in the outdoor activity industry .
Membership is required to participate in the club's activities. New applicants must select and purchase a membership type and complete a membership form. Existing members are encouraged to renew their subscriptions and ensure their personal details are up to date. Membership runs from January 31st to January 31st of the following year .
Activities offered by the club include indoor pool sessions during the winter months, flat water paddling on local lakes and rivers, and sea kayaking along the Northumberland coastline.
