Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park is a charming 6.5-acre zoo nestled on Pershore Road in Edgbaston, just 2 miles south of Birmingham city centre. Situated on the edge of Cannon Hill Park, it offers visitors the opportunity to explore a diverse collection of animals from around the world, including red pandas, lemurs, meerkats, otters, and a variety of monkey species. The park plays a vital role in conservation efforts, participating in European Endangered Species Programmes to support the survival of endangered species.

The park operates year-round with seasonal hours. From the first week of April to the end of October, it is open daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the last admission at 4:00 PM. From the last weekend of October to the end of March, the hours are 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with the last admission at 3:00 PM. Ticket prices vary: adults £6.25, children aged 3–15 £3.30, concessions £5.00, and children under 3 enter for free. Family tickets are available, with prices starting at £14.50 for one adult and up to three children. Season tickets are also offered, providing unlimited visits for 12 months.

The park is accessible by public transport, with the nearest train station being University (Birmingham), approximately 1.5 miles away. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely walk through the university campus to reach the park. On-site amenities include a café, picnic areas, and a children's play area. Please note that only assistance dogs are permitted within the park.
