Nestled beneath the iconic CCTV Tower in Haidian District, Beijing, the Pacific Underwater World is a modern and immersive aquarium that combines marine education with entertainment. Spanning over 8,000 square meters, it features a spectacular 80-meter-long underwater tunnel with a rotating walkway, allowing visitors to feel as though they are walking through the depths of the ocean. Ticket prices are reasonable, offering good value for the variety of experiences. Standard admission typically ranges from CNY 70 to 120 for adults, and about CNY 70 for children between 1.2 and 1.4 meters in height. Children under 1.2 meters may enter for free or at a reduced rate. Combo tickets, which include extras like the sea lion show or 5D movie experience, are available for around CNY 150–170 for adults and CNY 100–120 for kids. The aquarium is open daily, generally from 8:30 or 9:00 AM until 5:30 PM, with occasional extended hours during busy seasons.
