Description
The Aerial Cable Trail in Hazyview offers an exhilarating adventure through one of the last remaining natural forested valleys along the Sabie River, adjacent to the Kruger National Park. This 1.2 km trail features eight ziplines and ten platforms, allowing participants to glide over the lush vegetation and observe the diverse birdlife and forest floor below. Designed and built to South African civil engineering standards, the trail provides a safe and thrilling experience for all ages. Each group is accompanied by qualified guides who ensure safety and enhance the enjoyment of the journey.
The adventure begins at Perry’s Bridge Trading Post in Hazyview, where participants complete necessary documentation and receive a safety briefing before being transported to the starting point of the trail. The entire experience takes approximately 2.5 hours, including the scenic ride back to Perry’s Bridge. The trail is suitable for individuals aged 3 and above, with children under 10 requiring assistance from a qualified guide. The maximum weight limit per participant is 120 kg. Advanced booking is recommended, and the activity operates daily, weather permitting, except on Christmas and New Year's Day.
Participants are advised to wear closed shoes that won't fall off, long or short pants, and caps under the helmets if preferred. Sunglasses and sunscreen are also recommended. Bottled water is provided during the trail, and guests can enjoy the amenities at Perry’s Bridge Centre, including restaurants and shops, upon completion of the adventure.
