Description
Corendon Airlines Park, officially known as Antalya Stadium, is a covered, multi-purpose football stadium located in the Meltem district of Antalya, Turkey. It opened on October 25, 2015, and serves as the home ground for Antalyaspor, a Süper Lig football club. The stadium is owned by Turkey’s Ministry of Youth and Sports and has a seating capacity of around 32,500. All seats are under a continuous roof, offering shelter from the elements. A notable feature is its 16,000 m² solar-panelled roof, which produces approximately 7,200 kWh of electricity daily, making it the first solar-powered stadium in Turkey.
The stadium primarily hosts Antalyaspor home matches and occasionally games featuring the Turkish national team or other large-scale sporting and cultural events. Ticket prices vary depending on the seating section, from standard areas to VIP and executive boxes. Matches are scheduled according to the Turkish Süper Lig calendar, typically on weekends or selected weekdays. While the venue doesn’t offer general public access on non-event days, stadium tours may be available through the club or local tourism offices. Attendees should expect modern entry procedures including turnstile access and security checks.
For holiday-goers, Corendon Airlines Park offers a world-class match-day experience with ample food, drink, and official merchandise available inside. Outside food and beverages are typically not allowed. Parking facilities are available, though traffic can be heavy on match days, so early arrival is recommended. The covered design ensures a comfortable viewing experience in all weather conditions. If you're planning a visit, check the Antalyaspor match schedule in advance, especially during the peak tourist season, and consider purchasing tickets early to secure the best views.
